Feed. Clothe. Heal. Donate to SVDP.

Your donations are the lifeblood of our organization.

Whether it’s a special tribute gift to a loved one, a donation to help nourish families at our hunger centers, or a bequest to ensure a legacy of long-term impact, your generosity will help transform the lives of men, women, children and seniors right here in Northeast Ohio.

Your gift today will positively impact local individuals and families struggling with poverty. Any amount will help prevent utility shut-offs, eviction and homelessness, or provide healthy meals or other life-changing care to those in desperate need. St. Vincent de Paul Society is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. (Tax ID #51-0434414).

Thank you!

Care Club

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is able to continue its mission of serving Northeast Ohio’s poor through the generosity of our donors like you. The Care Club appeal is sent during the Advent and Lenten seasons, requesting that individuals consider a donation to the less fortunate as part of their preparation for the feasts of Christmas and Easter. These donations help individuals and families in need across Northeast Ohio with housing, utilities, medicine, transportation and so much more.

Donate safely and securely online today! Or to make a gift by mail, please make your check or money order payable to “St. Vincent de Paul Society” and mail to: St. Vincent de Paul Society Care Club, 1404 East Ninth Street – Third Floor, Cleveland, OH 44114.

SVDP Hunger Centers

Nourishing 14,000 hungry Northeast Ohio men, women, children and seniors every month

SVDP Cleveland believes that no one should ever have to go hungry.

That’s why it operates one of the larger networks of hunger centers here in Northeast Ohio. Located throughout several local neighborhood communities, SVDP hunger centers are a key player in fighting the war on hunger by providing nourishment for senior citizens, men, women and children who rely on these centers when there is no place else to turn.

The hunger centers offer folks staples, fresh produce, personal items and clothing to those in need, thanks to financial and in-kind donations from individuals, companies and organizations in the community. And they’re always given with a loving heart and warm smile by our many dedicated volunteers, some of whom help as part of their employer’s volunteer program.

Help us fight hunger in Northeast Ohio with your tax-deductible safe and secure online donation today. Or if you prefer, please mail your check to SVDP Cleveland Hunger Centers, 1404 East 9th Street-3rd Floor, Cleveland, OH 44114

Every $1 of your loving donation feeds four people!

Homeless Fund

Your Donation Today Will Help Move Someone Out of Homelessness Tomorrow

Imagine living each day without knowing whether you’re going to be able to eat, when you’ll be able to take a shower, or where you’re going to sleep at night. Sadly, this is the reality for thousands of local homeless people.

In fact, 23,000 individuals in Cuyahoga County alone experienced homelessness in 2017, according to the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless. Moreover, since 2015, there has been a 24 percent increase in homeless families here in our community.

Without basic necessities that so many of us take for granted, it is nearly impossible for men, women and children living under these conditions to break the cycle of homelessness.

This is where you can help.

When you make a financial contribution to the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s Homeless Fund, you are helping to move another individual or family out of homelessness. Your kind donation will be used towards a security deposit or first month’s rent for people attempting to escape homelessness, which include:

• a homeless person who finally decided to move into an apartment

• a family whose house caught on fire and is unexpectedly homeless after Red Cross funds have been depleted

• a single mother fleeing a domestic violence situation

• a family that is temporarily staying in a hotel or in their car because a parent lost his/her job and could not afford rent and utilities

No donation amount is too small to help house another person in need.
