We need your help.

Hunger prevention is at the forefront of St. Vincent de Paul Society emergency assistance as Cleveland has the highest poverty rate among large U.S. cities, in addition to higher rates of food insecurity than the State of Ohio.

Our hunger centers nourish 120,000 people annually. This includes children, working parents, individuals who lost their jobs, veterans, people experiencing homelessness and retired seniors.​As more Northeast Ohioans are adversely impacted by inflation and the increasing cost of living, we anticipate the need for food at our hunger centers will only increase.

Unfortunately, this growing need surpasses the funding available.

Presented in conjunction with Great Lakes Brewing Company, our annual Race for Hunger Relief appeal is crucial to our ability to provide food to neighbors in crisis.
